On Thursday, May 23, 2024, at the headquarters of the Asinara National Park, a seminar by CNR-IBE was held, organized by the Park Authority as part of the “IN-FORMAZIONE Month”: “Understanding Fires to Prevent Them.”
The CNR-IBE presentation focused on research activities aimed at supporting wildfire prevention and management in the Mediterranean environment. Among these activities, the highlight was undoubtedly the FIRE-BOX project (PRIN PNRR program), aimed at providing support systems for wildfire prevention in Italian National Parks.
