GARGANO – On February 11, 2025, a seminar was held to explore the rich forest heritage of the Gargano area. The event brought together experts and researchers involved in projects funded by the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR). Organized by the DISSPA Department at the University of Bari, the seminar provided an opportunity to delve into local forest types, key dendrometric parameters, and land management strategies aimed at preventing wildfires.
The discussion also highlighted the importance of forest-related value chains, including those linked to tourism and recreation.
It was a valuable occasion to reflect on the future of research and the protection of our agro-forestry heritage.
